Ear Sculpting
This surgery is indicated for patients older than 7 years who have prominent and large ears. The procedure involves reshaping the lost folds.
The incision is placed behind the ear, making it imperceptible.
Types of anesthesia:
It is performed under local anesthesia with sedation for enhanced patient tranquility and comfort. For pediatric patients, general anesthesia is preferred.
Incapacity:
It is recommended to avoid strenuous activities for at least 15 days after surgery, and suture removal is typically done around 8 days postoperatively.
Approximate surgical time:
1-2 hours.
