Abdominoplasty
This procedure is performed to improve the abdominal contour, especially in patients who have had multiple pregnancies or those who have lost a substantial amount of weight, resulting in loose, hanging, and striated skin in the lower abdominal area. The objectives of this surgery include the resection of excess skin, reinforcement of the abdominal wall, and achieving waist contour.
Types of anesthesia:
On our team, the procedure is performed under general anesthesia for enhanced patient monitoring.
Incapacity:
The recommended minimum recovery time is two weeks. Exercise can be resumed at the sixth week, and sun exposure should be avoided for three months.
Approximate surgical time:
2-3 hours.
