Volumizing Breast Contouring
Ranked as the second most commonly performed surgery worldwide following liposculpture, breast augmentation is a procedure aimed at lifting, volumizing, and improving the shape of the breasts through the use of breast implants. This surgical intervention involves an incision either around the areola or within the inframammary fold located beneath the breast. It's noteworthy that breastfeeding can proceed without any issues.
We exclusively use FDA-approved implants, offering a lifetime warranty against rupture and a 10-year warranty for encapsulation or late seroma. In the event of any such issues, replacements with identical specifications are provided by the supplier at no cost. However, it's important to note that while these implants are durable, they are typically recommended for replacement after 10 years.
Typically performed under general anesthesia, although in specific cases, it can be done under combined local anesthesia. The procedure lasts approximately 60 minutes and is entirely outpatient.
You should refrain from physical activities for two months and from driving or strenuous activities for at least 20 days. Breast augmentation typically requires a minimum of 5 days of recovery before resuming activities such as studying or desk work. For occupations involving more physical exertion, lifting objects, fieldwork, driving, etc., the recovery time should be extended. You can resume any activity, including exercise, after 8 weeks without restrictions.
